Wardrobes
Please note:
I can only make wardrobes up to 48'' wide.
Any features that you like on a wardrobe can be added to any other wardrobe or a 'blank'. Mirrors can be placed on the back of the door.
Measuring the depth:
Coat hanger length: 16'' ?
Therefor interior depth would be: 18'' ?
Backboards: 1/2''
Door: say 1''
Width of sides = 19 1/2''
Cornice overhang at front: 2''
total depth = 21 1/2''
Measuring the width:
Include the 4'' (2 + 2'') cornice overhang in the width of the wardrobe (see fig 1 below)
Trying out access to your room:
Cut out a template of the plan (width by depth, not forgetting the cornice, front and sides) of your wardrobe and try it out. If it won't go in to the room I would need to make a breakdown version (see fig 2)

The breakdown wardrobe is made in two main sections (A and B) that screw together (6 screws). This then simply sits on the plinth frame, between the plinth boards. The cornice drops down on the main section. An edging strip hides the join. Takes 5 mins to put together, if you can find the pozidriver. Please add £50 to any breakdown wardrobe for the extra work involved:- the extra partition, the separate plinth section, the separate drop down cornice.
Wardrobes with drawers can be broken down as shown below. Again, there's an extra charge (£50) for the work involved
.Prices
Single door dimensions are given as 76 x 36 x 22'' which are the overall (max.) dimensions. This size should fit into a bedroom that is accessed by fairly tight staircase and landing. See 'Trying out access to your room' above.
Double door dimensions are given as 76 x 42 x 22''
Wardrobes, whose dimensions vary from the two sets of dimensions give above, have the differences highlighted eg 30
Add / deduct £10 for every 2'' increase /decrease in width and height to / from the given dimensions
Drawers
If you like a wardrobe that has a drawer but don't need the drawer, I'll make it without the drawer. Deduct £65 from the wardrobe price
