Bookcases can be made to any size. See 'Dimensions / Prices' on bottom of page.The ones shown here look good with the proportions indicated. But, of course, any shape / size will do.

- Most of the bookcases have an internal width of 10 or 11''

Bookcases wider than 48'' and higher than 78'' may not go into an upstairs room. Anything bigger than this can be made in two parts. See 4A below.

1A 68 x 28'' 1C 39 x 36''
1A 68 x 28'' and 1B 72 x 36'' with wider pilasters (upright strips left & right). This style is very adaptable and seems to suit any proportions.

2 A and 2B above have wider pilasters which are fluted

3A and 3B have plain pilasters but the inside of these has a bead running up the pilaster , under the top rail and down the other side. Click on the photo to see this. The shelves also have a detail on the front.

4 78 x 72'' made in two parts and needs to be fitted on site. The left and right hand sections are screwed together. The plinth and the cornice are pinned on.
